Connect With Nature At The Activity Centre

We are delighted to offer a wide variety of unique outdoor activities for you and your family in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

From sustainable cooking classes to camping experiences, nature walks and much more, we offer an abundance of different ways to engage with the natural world, and create special memories together in the fresh air of our heritage estate.

Guided Walks on the Forest Trail

The Forest Trail is among the most iconic attractions at The Royal Stables. Winding through 1.2km of serene woodland and showcasing native flora and fauna, it offers a tranquil setting for a leisurely walk alongside one of our well-trained horses or gentle ponies.

Every morning (excluding Saturdays) from 7am to 10am, Guided Pony Rides for children aged 2 to 8 years take place along the trail. Led by one of our experienced grooms, these 20-minute rides provide a peaceful and charming introduction to equestrian life.

Family Photoshoots

The photoshoot packages at The Royal Stables offer a unique opportunity to capture genuine, candid moments of your children and loved ones alongside our highly-trained horses and ponies. Ideal as thoughtful gifts or lasting keepsakes for your home, each session includes the support of a skilled photographer and an experienced horse handler, with a selection of picturesque backgrounds to choose from.

Children’s Birthday Parties

At The Royal Stables, every birthday celebration is thoughtfully crafted to be a memorable and enchanting experience. Our children's party packages feature customised pony rides, tailored decorations, comfortable seating and tables, a high-quality sound system, and full use of our thoughtfully designed, nature-themed playground.

Guided by our experienced in-house events coordinator and a skilled, professional team, your child’s event is personalised to reflect their unique personality, and your family's individual preferences.
